*Emission and running cost figures are provided for comparison purposes only. Your own emissions and running costs may differ depending on your personal usage patterns and electricity tariff. Figures are based on usage patterns and energy consumption ratings provided by the Australian Government Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency (DCCEE) as found on each individual product's Energy Rating label. The formula and values used to calculate the emissions and cost of each product are provided by The Carbon Reduction Institute, one of Australia's most experienced and reliable carbon management organizations.
Running Costs are based on AGL Domestic Light/Power 110 tariff (first 3.2877 kWh per day), correct as at August 20, 2011, at $0.27159 per kWh.
Emissions figures are calculated using the annual total electricity consumption multiplied by the State-specific Electricity Emission Factor. For SA, the factor is .81 as at November, 2011.
