Radio Rentals is looking for a Desktop Support Officer to join their successful team.
Reporting to the IT Support Team Leader, your main responsibility will be the day to day support of the IT equipment and systems used by our employees. There will also be ample opportunity to participate in a wide range of projects which will challenge your research, innovative and management abilities.
Essential skills required for this position are;
• Windows Desktop (7, XP) Configuration and Troubleshooting
• Application installation and Troubleshooting
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
• An Understanding of Local and Wide area Networks
Exposure to one or more of the following areas is not necessary but will be advantageous;
• Key Microsoft Windows Server Roles, such as Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, SQL Server
• Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat ES)
• VMware (ESX version 4 or above)
• Cisco Network Equipment
The role is ideally suited to a passionate, motivated and lateral thinking individual, who is looking to commence, or further, their career as a professional within the ICT industry. You will possess exceptional problem solving and time management skills, have a patient, tolerant approach to customer service. If successful you will become an important part of a small team and be able to work flexible hours.
